Studies about the Infantile Game Lab

The “Physical Education and Labgames Space” was established in 1999 at UFRJ with the initial purpose of promoting studies and research on children's games, children’s plays and toys, with regard to their cultural characteristics, the contexts in which they occur and the implications for education. Later, its scope was expanded and nowadays it has three investigative proposals: Children’s games, culture and learning; Pedagogical studies of Physical Education; Health, quality of life and exercise.
